Choose your color with Miyu Kawabata
On this day, ISAMI Store Kawagoe turns exactly one year old.
In a small shop at the end of an alley, hidden from the street,
Miyu Kawabata will sit down with each visitor and choose the color that suits them.

| What | About 15 minutes per person to choose, together with Ms. Kawabata, the color of The Knit Tabi that suits you. You take home a photo and a card handwritten by Ms. Kawabata as a record of the day. Some colors may be unavailable depending on stock. |
| Capacity | 8 groups per session, 16 groups in total (up to 2 people each), plus a waiting list of 4 groups who move up if there are cancellations. Entry by application and lottery. |
| Fee | Free (you cover your own travel). No purchase necessary — you are welcome to come just to choose. |

ENTRY
Applications are open now and close Sunday 8 November 2026 at 23:59 JST.
Results: everyone — selected, waiting list or not selected — will hear from us by email by Wednesday 11 November.
This is a lottery, not first come first served. One application per person; only the first of any duplicate applications counts.

If you cannot read Japanese, email hello@isamijapan.com by 8 November with your name, age, phone number, preferred session (1 or 2, or either) and, if you like, a message for Ms. Kawabata. We will enter you in the same lottery.
Please apply only if you can come to the shop in Kawagoe, Saitama, in person on Saturday 21 November.
Emails will come from hello@isamijapan.com; please make sure you can receive them.
ON THE DAY
Until 15:00 the shop is open only to guests selected in the lottery, including over lunchtime.
Please refrain from calling out to Ms. Kawabata or filming from inside or outside the shop.
15:00–17:00 the shop is open to everyone.
We plan to display the colors Ms. Kawabata chose, with her comments,
and to set out a message box where you can leave her a note.
・Video and photos will be recorded on the day. We will publish photos or video of you only in the ways you agree to at reception.
・Cashless payment only.
・Visitors under 18 need parental consent (please bring a signed consent form or come with a parent or guardian).
・Held rain or shine. If severe weather forces a cancellation or change, we will email you by 15:00 the day before.
1ST ANNIVERSARY
A first-anniversary week is also planned for late November.
