Product & Sizing

How do I choose my size?

Use your usual sneaker size as a guide. The Knit Tabi comes in M (23.5–25.0 cm) and L (26.0–28.5 cm). Around the borderline (25.0cm / 26.0cm), choose M for a snug fit or L for more room. See the Size Guide for details.

How are these different from regular socks?

Unlike socks knitted on a circular machine, The Knit Tabi is made by cutting a purpose-made knit fabric and sewing each pair by the tabi method — not knitted, but tailored.

What material is used?

A durable, purpose-made jacquard-knit fabric developed for tabi in the knit region of Mitsuke, Niigata.

How many patterns are there?

We offer several colors and auspicious Japanese patterns. See the product page for the current lineup.

Can I wear them with sneakers or shoes?

Yes. Despite the split-toe construction, they pair well with setta sandals, sneakers, and everyday Western clothing.

Care

Can I wash them?

Yes. Machine wash in a laundry net at 30°C or below. Do not tumble dry; reshape and dry in the shade.

Any tips for longevity?

Wash inside-out in a net to reduce wear. Avoid heavy use of bleach or fabric softener.

What payment methods are available?

Credit card, electronic money, and QR-code payments are accepted.

Can I cancel after ordering?

Yes, before the order is dispatched. Cancellation after dispatch is generally not possible, so please contact us as soon as possible.

Shipping

How much is shipping?

Shipping within Japan is free. For international rates, see Shipping.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Asia ¥3,500 / Oceania & Europe ¥4,600 / North America ¥5,500 (up to 5,000g). Any customs duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

How long does delivery take?

We ship within 7 business days of order confirmation. A tracking number is emailed after shipment.

Returns & Exchanges

Can I return or exchange?

Yes, if you contact us within 7 days of delivery and the item meets the conditions (unused, tags attached, etc.). See Returns & Exchanges for details.

I'd like to exchange sizes

Subject to stock. For customer-initiated exchanges, round-trip shipping is the customer's responsibility. Please contact us first.
