Our First Time at TETETE Trade Show 2026

ISAMI will exhibit for the first time at the TETETE Trade Show, to be held in September 2026. It will be our chance to present The Knit Tabi and our craft in person.

What is the TETETE Trade Show?

The TETETE Trade Show is a gathering where makers and storytellers from across Japan meet. Unlike a typical retail fair, its visitors are mainly buyers, press, and coordinators — people who convey and carry craftsmanship. Here, it is not only price or trend but the story, provenance, and philosophy behind the making that are valued.

"Why do you make it?" Brands that face that question head-on gather here — that is the spirit of TETETE.

Why ISAMI is exhibiting

The Knit Tabi frees the fading craft of tabi-making from the world of kimono, rebuilding both fabric and construction from the ground up — a new genre of tabi.

Born from the hands of artisans in two regions — the knit region of Mitsuke, Niigata, and the tabi region of Gyoda, Saitama — this pair will meet, for the first time in person, those who look deeply at how things are made.

Not knitted like a sock, but tailored like tabi.
